What does the Roof Sub-committee @41 Monkgate do?
The roof sub-committee is formed of voluntary members who's primary focus is on raising funds for the repair of our roof. The main responsibilities are focused on finding and applying for funding grants, creating and implementing fundraising events and working with the primary board members, particularly our chair and our financier.
How much of my time will be offering?
The sub-committee hold regular meetings every month of a few hours in length. In between meetings, they will be expected to complete any tasks assigned to them at the meetings.
The important stuff.
You must be at least 18 years old to join the Sub-committee.
While no experience is necessary, we are ideally looking for people with experience in grant applications, bid writing and funding, legal work, project management and charitable experience.
